(This one I wrote during my class tenth session and hence has a very amateur flavour of poetry. So before reading leave the brain, just enjoy it and then try to extract some sense out of it!)
Down the isle
I still wait for the reptile.
The day started as the life does
Everything new full of strangeness
Someone remarked in a fuss
'Have to dwell in this wilderness'
Hurried through the fragile challenges
As if distorting the dew on leaves
Created no harm no worries
Was young moving like a furry.
Suddenly came across a brook
Tried to cross it, but failed
Had to search for the right spot to jump
As the croco does to kill the prey.
Crossed the brook, here comes the dense wood
Gathered some adrenalin to get through it
As expected met a bear in his hood
Keeping the sound of the ground;
The silence was to make myself calm
Leaving the hood, found the cave
It was dark with black bats around
No hope, no sign,neither any alarm;
The mind said NO
But the heart said YES!
For the very first time,my heart won over the brain
And I came out through the rough terrain.
The soul and body united together
Could feel the essence of fresh air
Felt like waving the flag of victory
The distant isle was now looking like a twig of tree.
Here goes the warrior with his own mindset
Untempered by anyones' reamark
As he posesses his own closet
Wavin' the fishes dodging the shark;
Reaches the isle
Searches for the reptile
Get onto one and another
And the number goes on!
But still
Down the isle
I still wait for another reptile!
